Thieves Smash Car Window & Take £100 Roller Skates

Police Scotland officers in Dumfries are investigating a theft from a red coloured Ford Ka car which was parked on Syme Road in Dumfries.

Sometime between 1230 hours and 2015 hours on Saturday 25 November 2017 a window was smashed in the car and a bag containing roller skating equipment was stolen. The bag was found nearby the following day (Sunday) however a set of black roller skates with white toes were missing. The skates are valued at around £100.

Constable Chris Kemp at Dumfries said “We want to hear from anyone who was in the Syme Road area on Saturday to give us a call at Dumfries on 101 if they saw anything suspicious.”
