POLICE SCOTLAND are investigating a theft that occurred around 1.30pm on Thursday 30th January in Thornhill.
The residents were within their living room when they heard the back door opening. When they shouted to see who it was and didn’t get a responsethey went to go and check. As they approached the kitchen they saw a man leaving their house and running off in the direction of Drumlanrig Street, Thornhill.
Items from the house had been taken however the man left them behind as he ran off.
Male responsible described as being
– approx 5 ft 7 in height
– medium build
– mid 30’s
– short shaved hair
– wearing black clothing
