Three Cars Stolen And Crashed Overnight – Dumfries

POLICE Scotland  have had reports of several cars having been stolen in the Dumfries area last-night and they are appealing for witnesses.

Two cars were stolen from Waverly Road in Dumfries between 9pm yesterday (26th) and 1am this morning (27th). One of the vehicles was a 65 plate, white Vauxhall Corsa and the second was a Silver Sabb 93.

The Corsa has been found by Police and the Sabb was found crashed in a field on Tinwald Downs Road, Heathhall.

In the third theft, an orange coloured, 08 plate, Ford Mondeo was stolen from Wellington Avenue in Heathhall and later found crashed on the A701 near to Parkgate.

Anyone who saw any of these vehicles moving during the late evening last night or early hours of this morning is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.

FURTHER INFORMATION – VEHICLE THEFTS DUMFRIES /PARKGATE

POLICE are now keen to hear from anyone that saw a red, 55 plate, Fiat Panda being driven between Parkgate and Moffat in the early hours of this morning. The Fiat Panda was stolen from the village and later found crashed on the outskirts of Moffat.

Police believe this may linked to the earlier theft of three vehicles in the Dumfries area. Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on the 101 number.
