TOOLS STOLEN FROM BARN NEAR MOFFAT

Police Scotland is seeking the help of the public in their investigations into a break-in which happened at a barn in the Annan Water area at Moffat.

The barn, which belongs to the Border Forest Trust was broken into sometime between Monday 6 and Wednesday 8 November 2017. Property stolen from the barn include a chainsaw and a petrol strimmer. The value of the property stolen is in the region of £600.

Constable Lisa Duff said “This barn sits in a very remote location and we have carried out door to door enquiries in the road leading to the barn. We are asking anyone who may have been up in the Moffat Water area over this period to get in touch with us through the 101 number if they perhaps saw or heard anything suspicious, quoting PDG 0260431117.
