POLICE Officers in Dumfries are carrying out door to door enquiries after a break-in to the Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club in Castle Douglas Road in the town. Sometime on Saturday 17/Sunday 18 February 2018 a shed at the golf club was broken into and a blue coloured tool chest containing a large quantity of tools, and a Stihl chainsaw were stolen. The value of the property is in excess of £2000.
Constable Ruairidh Matthews said “we want to hear from anyone who may have been at the golf club over the weekend if they saw or heard anything suspicious. We are also interested in hearing about any strange vehicles in the vicinity of the club over this time.
