Vandals Smash Bus Windows In Dumfries

Police Scotland is seeking help to trace a group of three youths who were on Lochside Road in Dumfries at around 2015 hours on Tuesday 14 June 2016 when stones were thrown at a Stagecoach service bus, smashing one of the windows. No-one was injured in the incident. The value of the window is estimated at around £300.

Sergeant Steven Saunderson at Dumfries said “this was a very foolhardy and reckless act by these boys and could have resulted in someone getting seriously injured. The only description we have is that one of the boys had had shoulder length hair and one was wearing a blue hooded top. We are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area and saw anything which might help us catch those responsible. Callers can contact Police Scotland at Dumfries on 101.
