A man and a woman have died following a road crash near Sanquhar on Sunday 28 May 2017.
Around 1315 hours on Sunday afternoon, police were called to a road crash involving two vehicles on the A76 near Sanquhar.
Emergency services attended, however a man and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene.
A full investigation will take place into the cause of the crash. At this time, officers are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with information to contact the Road Policing Officers at Lockerbie through 101 quoting reference number 2408 of 28th May.
