Judging by the large numbers of visitors and sales of bakes, plants, and the beautiful art works of highly regarded Dumfries and Galloway floral artist Mary-Clare Cornwallis, the 2026 All Saints’ Episcopal Church, Challoch, ‘Plant and Bake Day’ was a resounding success!
Commenting on Saturday’s (25 April) annual event, Priest at All Saints’ Challoch, Stuart Bain, said: “The sun shone, lots of people came; cakes, plants and art were bought; refreshments were enjoyed in our beautiful church, and new friends were made – a wonderful day all round. Roll on next year’s ‘Plant and Bake Day’!”
