Officers in Dumfries are carrying out door to door enquiries in the Lincluden area of Dumfries after a break-in was discovered at Marchbank Bakers in Lincluden Road.
The break-in happened sometime between 1450 hours and 2120 hours on Saturday 4 February 2017.
Constable Graeme Glendinning at Dumfries said “We are conducting door to door enquiries in the area around the shop to see if anyone saw anything which might help us catch those responsible. A three figure sum of cash was stolen in the raid. Anyone who can assist us in this investigation is asked to call us on 101.
