Tools Stolen From Shed At Comlongen Castle

Police Scotland officers are carrying our enquiries into the theft of electrical tools after a shed at Comlongen Castle, Clarencefield, Dumfries and Galloway was broken into sometime between Tuesday 24 January and Thursday 2 February 2017.

The tools stolen include two Makita make drills, three chain saws, one Stihl saw a hedge cutter and leaf blower.

Constable Andrew Aitken at Annan said “we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the Comlongen Castle area between these two dates, or indeed in the village of Clarencefield itself. A vehicle is likely to have been used to help carry away the stolen tools and we are asking for the public to come forward if they saw any unusual vehicle movements on the roadway which leads to Comlongen Castle. Anyone with any information can contact Police Scotland through the 101 number.”
