Police Scotland is seeking witnesses to a road traffic collision which saw a wheel become dislodged from a passing trailer and strike a silver Rover.
The collision happened at around 5.50pm on Monday 3 April 2017 in Church Street Annan, when the wheel from a flatbed trailer, which was being towed by a silver 4×4 became dislodged and struck the driver’s door of an oncoming silver Rover motor car. The driver of the silver 4×4 failed to stop at the scene. No one was injured as a result of the RTC.
Constable Julie Rankin at Annan said “We are keen to hear from anyone who might have witnessed this collision, or even the driver of the silver 4×4 who may not have noticed the wheel had broken off and stuck another vehicle. Police at Annan can be contacted through the 101 number.”
